Why all outdoor pens should have tops on them... 👀 some sneaky pup could get hurt climbing out. They can also get shot, hit by a car, attacked by another animal, or hurt another animal or human.

If you keep your dog in an outdoor enclosure, but have routine escape issues, it's time to rethink your pen and your dog's needs.

If you need help making sure that your dog's enclosure is suitable for them, shoot me a message and we'll schedule a time for me to come out and point out potential issues and help you make the most of your dog's outdoor area.

There's zero need to hate on anyone that maintains an outdoor dog appropriately. I see them all the time and they're usually the happiest hounds ever because they love to be outside.

If you're dog is an escape artist, and you send them to daycare or training, let the facility know as many of them don't have tops on their enclosures. 🧡

Wyatt has the uncanny ability to just GO GO GO. Never settles. Totally impossible. Doesn't listen. Never sits still. Says my partner... 🤣 this is him with me most of the time. Who else has a dog that allegedly causes trouble, but only when you're not around? 🤔🐾🤪

Although he's been pulled from our breeding program, we're still working on building Wyatt's confidence in the field.

In this particular area, he was attacked by an off leash dog so he's been hesitant diving back into the grass to search for his favorite ball.

He says goodbye to his jewels next Thursday so he can go back to playing with his favorite female without expanding the family. 😉

Last week Nova was sent to North Dakota with Walkers Farm and Kennel to see if she's got the natural drive to work birds. Excited to hear about her adventures and whether or not field work will be in her future. We were late to the party on this one and wish she could have started sooner, but the folks we planned to work with ended up closing up shop. We've been hoping for an opportunity like what David has provided with his summer camp. And so thankful for David's wife, Lee for taking such good care of the whole pack while we were on vacation last month. ❤️🐾☀️
