Morning Glory BTX is Brownsville Media APPROVED ✅ This beautiful brunchery is located in Downtown Brownsville. It is an order over the counter restaurant that has a delicious brunch menu. Morning Glory has your typical pancakes, waffles, crepes, mimosas, but also has some amazing Mexican style dishes. As you can see, the plating is beautiful.

We ordered a Mexican breakfast burrito, meat lovers omelette, chilaquiles en salsa roja, and the berries pancakes. To drink we had an orange juice, sunrise mimosa, hazle nut coffee with almond milk, and water.

If you want to try something different from the typical Mexican coffee shops, or dennys/ihop…morning glory will suprise you!

Tacos de Trompo from Taquería La Vaquita 4 🙌

We believe they are one of the only taquerias with an ACTUAL TROMPO. 👏

These tacos are overall really good! Probably amongst the best taquerias in Brownsville. The beans we had were full of flavor. The tortillas were fresh and hot. They also offer Mexican dishes, not just tacos. Have you all been? Let us know.

Parry's Pizza We have to admit, we were very impressed with Parry’s Pizza. We thought it would be just another franchise style restaurant. But man were we surprised. Their manager personally came to our table and gave us some free garlic Parmesan bites. FUN FACT: they make their dough fresh every single day! 🙌 the Parmesan bites were steaming hot and were nice and soft at the bite. We got a pizza with jalapeños and cream cheese, and it was delicious! The burger was also super juicy and nice and thick patty!

One of the best parts though, was their beer draft options. They have over 20 options and have a huge variety of craft beer.

They also have a very spacious outdoor patio with TVs, fans, and co****le game.

Very impressed and they are Brownsville Media approved. 🙏

Spankys Burgers is Brownsville Media APPROVED! What a beautiful place with lots of burger options. This has got to be a top burger place in the state, no joke! And they also have some Mexican food options on their menu!

There are so many more pictures we wish we could have taken. They have a beautiful outdoor patio by a resaca. The decor inside is awesome with some vintage items and portraits of old school legends. Hopefully we can come back here and even do a video segment. 🙌🎥

Today we met Elias Ortiz. This young man has a true entrepreneurial mindset! He’s the definition of a hustler. We love meeting people who have this type of energy and are trying to better themselves.
