This afternoon, Sheriff Sadler had the honor of recognizing Sergeant Tony Goodpaster, Corporal Nicholas Korpal, and Deputies Robert Lenover, Justin Arnes, and Greg Jobe with a Letter of Commendation for their efforts in safely apprehending a violent suspect earlier this month. These deputies were commended for their teamwork during a rapidly evolving and highly chaotic situation. Their bravery and courage were on full display during this incident, and we are grateful for their unwavering dedication to help keep the citizens of Hendricks County and each other safe!

Looking for talented singers - auditions are easy - you simply sing scales with our music director. Practices are one day a week until performance week. Our next concert is April 25th and 27th! To join the chorus simply come in through the west side door of Hendricks Live (Mill Street) at 6:30 pm Mondays (you can come tonight!) and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor and let our music director know you are there to try out.

All DCSC schools will be utilizing a Waiver of Instruction Day granted by the Department of Education for the release of students on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, to engage our staff in a day of Professional Development. This means that students will stay home, and they will NOT have any online work to complete, and all staff will be in our buildings to complete required training. PACE and the Little Warrior Learning Center will remain open at their normally scheduled time for those who are enrolled. All school offices and the Administration Office will also be open at their normally scheduled time.
