We're highlighting a grantee: the Menomonee Falls Farmers Market.

Did you know that the GMFF supported the revival and enhancement of the Farmers Market?

We are fortunate to have such a thriving Farmers Market that also benefits our local food pantry.

Thank you, past and present volunteers who help with the Farmers Market, including Robin Manke, who was honored last night for the Menomonee Falls High School Wall of Fame. See her plaque in the comments.

Falls Area Food Pantry is sincerely grateful to all the students, parents, teachers and staff of GRACE Lutheran Grace Lutheran School for their food drive. Each grade brought in food donations for one week. Then every class built a creative sculpture with the food and the Student Council judged the entries. The 3rd grade class won with their turtle sculpture! Other sculptures created were a spider, a Christmas tree, a flower, a truck and so much more! Thank you for being such a vital part of our mission.

Falls Area Food Pantry is so very grateful to Zion Lutheran Ministries’ Church and School for their most wonderful gifts. Over the course of several weeks, they collected more than 4 for us large three shelved carts of food to share with the families we serve. What a wonderful way to live your faith and teach your children.

The last day to place your leaves out for collection is Sunday, November 24. The Village will begin the 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱. Note that only areas of the Village with concrete curb and gutter storm sewer systems are eligible for collection. Refer to the Leaf Collection Map (link below) to determine whether the final collection has been performed in your area. Please contact the Department of Public Works at (262) 532-4700 with any questions.
