-Kids sharing their knowledge & teaching others
-New players finding confidence(+FUN!) in Chess & their abilities
Thank you so much to all the families who have come out! Facilitating events like this, where I get to work with, observe, & meet so many new, amazing kiddos brings me so much JOY. From the kids who came not-so-excited about chess & left all smiles, winning matches, & making new friends, to the Grandma who was intimidated by Chess for years & now knows how to play after their grandchild came to Chess Club & taught her....showing up to spend the afternoon with you all just makes my day! And, my kids want to keep doing it every week because they love it so. Check out the updated event details & dates I added into October if you are interested. I'll be coming up with some thoughtful, space accommodating solutions, as we had almost 50 folks turn up for the last one!

So many folks working hard to help out at @braziflorafarms -wonderful conversations, a tasty potluck meal, greenhouse/farm tour, kids running around in a heard together, & seeds for folks to take home from Wendell & Nancy. Just a great day-I was a little too busy enjoying myself to take many pictures😆 We are grateful.
