Documenting S*x is a series of talks and panel discussions conceived by artist, Richard John Jones, that accompany the programme of the first edition of the NYC P**n Film Festival 2015. The programme features perspectives from within the p**n industry but also, crucially, from contemporary art and experimental film. The programme aims to create a long term platform to reflect upon contemporary p**

nography through the exploration of its historical significance. The main themes running throughout the programme will reflect upon p**n as a document of s*xual practice, the p**nographer as documentary film-maker,the intimate connection between p**n and experimental film and also moving-image work that shows acts of s*x but finds itself within other channels of film and video distribution.
