Friend is one who is Trustworthy, Responsible, Understanding and Encouraging. Our wellness is in large part a function of how we care for ourselves, others, our home environment and our community. The management of True Friends Place (TFP) endeavors to distinguish itself within the recovery field on the basis of these four character attributes. In Christ we strive to live out these values in how w
e conduct our business and programs and in how we relate to our residents and our community. To care is to serve. True Friends Program Overview
At True Friends Place, we believe that people with addictions and other dysfunction issues have the inner potential and capacity to change and control their attitudes and actions. In Christ, no one is powerless over their behaviors. Our acceptance of a resident/referral begins with an in-depth interview to determine if the applicant is well-suited to our program goals. Achieving a high degree of consistent success with our residents is extremely important to us. The greatest benefit to society happens when residents leave their transition facility and only come back to say “thanks, now how can I help others?”
