human condition, the beauty in
heartbreak. and resilience in
times of adversity. Her

living testimony that beautiful
things may not only grow, but
very much flourish, even in the
most hostile of environments.

A New Yorker.
born and raised in Queens.
Merlin's writing has not been
influenced by any specific poet
as he has not and does not
read any poetry books. Instead,
he prefers to let his mood
swings and life situations
influence his work, considering
his writing a mix of emotions
brought on by his bipolar
thoughts and schizophrenic
tendencies. Because of this,
you will find he writes in various
forms and subjects of poetry,
from the innocent and romantic
to the extremely dark and
suicidal.
