If you have but one free read to read on Medium I could understand why you might want to waste it on something else. However, if you find yourself with one to spare check this out an comment.
The basic idea is to revisit the Brothers Grimm. Restore some of the grim and s*x that had been removed from the original tellings, although it’s a retelling, so I get to remove racism and any other -ism that I think it could do without.
Names will be changed to protect the Grimms—and hopefully me. The original text are all public domain, any resemblence to copyrighted material is coincidence.
