Five years ago, I got a movie idea from a dream. I wrote the movie, worked it through festivals, and then sat on it because making movies is expensive. It got some decent reviews and placement in the festival circuit so I decided to convert it into a book and have been working on that for a year and a half. Today, I submitted it to an Editor for review in hopes of getting it published one day soon. Lots of emotions with this one.

Editing is our least favorite part of the process, but seeing finished work is certainly rewarding. Especially when you get to watch footage of these two amazing actresses. So much gratitude to Nikki Winchell and Emily O’Neal for the hard work on this project.

I was waiting on this one too! Next Thursday was an Official Selection in the Atlanta Women's Film Festival! ❤️ Out of 18 screenplays, it went against 3 others for the win. Did not win, but every person that reads this story moves it further toward the goal.

What a sweet 50th birthday present: My first laurel of 2024 for my Christian feature script, Next Thursday. Y’all don’t know this, but I challenged myself to transfer the script into a novel before my 50th birthday, and I finished it last night. Hopefully good blessings in the future for this sweet story.
