On November 1st Floating Luminaries were released at Leonard J. Buck Garden! Participants created their own fire free lanterns that were placed into the pond at night. This created a serene and memorable experience for all involved. You can experience this yourself by registering in the Fall of 2025. Check out our Maple Sugaring program at the Environmental Education Center this weekend! Go on an hour tour with one of our naturalist guides to learn all about maple sugaring and syrup. Yesterdayโs flooding caused water to pool up in the field at North Branch Park. While it closed down some of our park facilities it created opportunity for some local wildlife to take advantage of trapped fish. We spotted two bald eagles, a family of ducks, and counted at least ten blue herons!
