DeNoon Lumber "Highest Authority"
99% of a good idea is execution. A big thank you to Wheelhouse Creative and DeNoon Lumber for believing us when we said we could put a huge boat in a field...and make a thunderstorm roll in on a sunny day. Telling a story in :30 seconds is challenging, but when you have a talented visual effects team, it gets a bit easier, and possibilities are endless.
The Forward Project
The First Christian Church of Martins Ferry is building a community center for the benefit of the entire community in the empty lot next to the church. It's such a worthwhile project and a labor of love for a congregation that simply wants to be a light in the community. We donated the production of this short video so that the church can explain, in their own words, their reasons behind this project. If you can find a little extra this Holiday season, please consider donating to this worthwhile cause. The impact on the community will be far reaching for years to come.
Hoard-Jones "The Dynamic Duo"
We'd like to see more bands do pieces like this. Music videos are great, and live performance videos show that you can play, but this short demo gives a little insight into the personalities behind the instruments. It gives fans and concert promoters something they can connect with. Roger Hoard and Dan Jones are two very talented and entertaining musicians. They play venues large and small all around the region. Check their website at hoardandjones.com to see where you can catch them next. We can tell you first hand...these guys are good. If your band can use a demo like this, just drop us a line.
C.A. House Music | Santa Knows :30
Santa himself knows that the best deals on music gear are at C.A. House Music. So don't be surprised if you're in shopping for the musician in your life, and you see the man himself snatching up the best deals!
Martins Ferry City Schools | "A 21st Century Education"
We recently completed a short video featuring the faculty and students of Martins Ferry City Schools. The TV ad was hugely popular, but this short piece delves a little deeper into why it is such a top notch, public school. Thank you to the faculty and students who participated...you were all a pleasure to work with. Special thanks to Jeremy Lewis for the use of his drone footage. Another complete hometown effort presented by the hometown production studio.
John Artimez | "Safe Streets"
Question: Why do political ads all have to look the same...bland and uninteresting? Answer: They don't. Thank you to John Artimez for realizing this and allowing us to send his message visually.
"Advancing into the Future"
Recently finished this one up for Martins Ferry City Schools. This was a great shoot for our hometown school system. The facility is state-of-the-art, the faculty is top notch, and the students were a pleasure to work with. Special thanks to local drone pilot Jeremy Lewis. This was truly a hometown effort.
C.A. House Music - "Lessons"

They offer group or private lessons on just about any instrument. Everyone on their staff are incredible musicians, so you will learn from the best...guaranteed. Give them a call!
Allyson Mae prepping Dave Meadows for the upcoming short film "The Goodbye Place" Allyson is a SFX make up artist studying at Tom Savini make up effects in Douglas. With her constant "Its all or nothing" approach to every projects she is on. She constantly goes above and beyond every project she is on making sure if her name is associated to a certain effect. Then it has to be an effect that blows peoples mind!
New Commercial for Alternative Home Health. We so rarely get to do :60 ads due mostly to the cost of airing them, so this was a pleasure. :30's are great, but a :60 allows so much more time to linger in shots and to tell a story. Great job to local actor and actress Mr. Paul Orr and Ms. Annie Kopay for playing the older couple. Special thanks to Dr. Michalski of EORH for lending his waiting room and graciously appearing in the ad. And who could forget Kimberly Monahan playing the younger version of Ms. Kopay's character? Any more of this and she'll be demanding her own trailer. Oh, yes, and many thanks to the incomparable Joe Jacobs for being the waiting room background eye candy as only he can do it. The ad will be airing on WTOV. Great job to all.
The Hound Hut
Just finished a commercial for The Hound Hut in Columbus, Ohio. They say in any sort of photography or TV medium, there are two things you don't want to work with...children and animals. Well, we had them both in this ad, and honestly, it wasn't so bad. Everyone gave great performances, and The Hound Hut is thrilled. Many thanks to the Connors family of St. Clairsville for allowing us to invade their home for a few hours during the shoot...and to Michaela Basham for working with her dog, Tarent (aka Buster), to make sure he looked good. Great job to all!
Betty Zane - Legend Of Fort Henry
This is a short demo we produced to help obtain funding for a future project about Ohio Valley legend Betty Zane. It shows what you can do with a shoestring budget, one camera, two actors, a handful of historical reenactors and a lot of passion. This dramatization was shot in what amounts to a parking lot and field at Olgebay Park in Wheeling, WV. Enjoy! (c) 2011, Shooters Productions
Assault and Battery
One more harrowing story of police work. Hmmm...the perp in this clip seems familiar. Everyone give Paul Jeffries a round of applause for his acting debut. He, along with officer Brandi Alderman and Kimberly Monahan, gave a fine performance. Very believable.
Surprise hold up
Here's another scenario for the Body armor production...many thanks to Sgt. Shaun Flanegin of the Wheeling PD and Paul Jeffries for some fine acting.
Intro to NIJ Body Armor Video
Here is the intro scene to the upcoming NIJ Body Armor Video. Has anyone seen the shady character in this clip? Last I heard, he was seen heading towards Arizona. If you happen upon him, do not approach. Please contact the local authorities immediately.
Visual FX REVEALED!
Sometimes Visual Effects go unnoticed. Here are some visual enhancements to the Scott College of Cosmetology television commercial that you might not have realized were there!
B. E. Taylor: Backstage CMH
More behind-the-scenes antics at the B. E. Taylor Christmas show at the CMH in Wheeling, with Bill and Veronica. The "Live from Heinz Hall" DVD is now available at betaylor.com!
