BLU99 Productions began as a small DJ outfit when founder Steve Hanson was still in high school in Fremont, California. Steve Hanson has been professionally entertaining since 1984. We say “entertain", because Steve does more than just spin music:

t wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events, private parties, fundraisers, and much more. . A featured disc jockey for Brad Kinney Productions, Sparks Productions and KWLC radio, Steve’s thirty-plus years in the industry make him a fun and exciting Master of Ceremonies and host for your special event. With years of experience in event coordination, Steve can consult with you for the perfect event, whether you wish to use a mobile DJ or a variety of live entertainment (bands, etc.). The Advantage of Experience: Being a DJ and performer for literally hundreds of weddings over the years has given Steve unique perspective on how to coordinate the music and entertainment of an event to create a smooth and enjoyable experience. We always try to coordinate with your presiding minister and the facility to make sure your event will run as smoothly as possible. This normally puts the bridal couple at ease, knowing they do not have to worry about the different facets of the event working together. Whether it’s helping the facility’s catering staff during your event or assisting in the rehearsal for your ceremony, Steve’s experience can be valuable for your big day. No matter what service he may provide you for your wedding, the goal is for the bridal couple to relax and enjoy their special day, without worrying about the details… This personal level of service and detail is an important part of what we do to make your experience the best it can be.

What a whirlwind of an event! Saturday we produced (and gigged in) the amazing Boots and Spurs event at Campos Family Vineyards to raise money for ALS CURE Project. Five bands, almost 500 people, and a boatload of money raised to find a cure. Big shout out to my whole team, my band, and my partners at Campos for an awesome day!
