Jack Schneider, founder and president, has been a songwriter in the music business for over 30 years. In the 1970s, he was a staff writer exclusively for Cedarwood Publishing (now a part of Universal Music) in Nashville, TN. Jack had songs recorded by Grand Ole Opry stars such as Stonewall Jackson, Jim Ed Brown, Kitty Wells, and Gary Stewart. Several of these songs charted in the Billboard Top 20
including, “This World Holds Nothing,” which hit the Top 10. after purchasing Little Gem Music, a record label and publishing catalog associated with Little Jimmy Dickens. With over 30 years of experience in the business, Rustic Records continues to utilize its entrepreneurial vision to adapt to an evolving industry. The opportunities for independent labels are growing rapidly and leveling a playing field that was once in favor of major labels. In addition to an independent label, our corporation manages three publishing companies (one affiliated with each Performing Rights Organization) offering music publishing and licensing to our clients. Rustic Records is always seeking future clients within the music industry, including songwriters, recording artists, music publishers, production companies, and advertising agencies.
