We are excited to inform you that the plans and preparations for the 2024 PJTF Gala have been launched . The gala will be on Saturday, September 21, 2024, beginning at 5pm in the PJT Hangar.

This year's extraordinary Guest of Honor is Lieutenant General Stayce D. Harris(retired AF), the former Inspector General of the Air Force, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force. General Harris is a former pilot, engineer and trailblazer for women.

Christine Douglas and her husband Jason have supported the local youth for many years when they owned RPM record store in Brentwood where they donated free space, time, and energy to anyone looking to practice or play music. In addition, they also hosted many PAL (Police Activities League) events. Christine is a 53-year-old mother of 3 with two grandsons. She went in for a routine colonoscopy at the end of February and they were unable to do it. Subsequent tests later showed proof of advanced metastatic cancer spread from the ovaries, to the colon, liver, lungs, and abdominal cavity lining. Once these cancers are at stage 4, and they invade the lining it is diagnosed as peritoneal carcinomatosis. This is terminal, and she went from not knowing she had cancer to entering hospice within a matter of weeks, no options for treatment were given. She was given 2 weeks to 3 months to live back in March, so she is grateful for every day.
Her two younger children are still in college, her oldest is a Captain in the Air Force and an F-22 pilot. Christine and her husband run their estate sale company (J & C Estate Sales) and have RPM Records inside Curious-ity in Downtown Brentwood where they sell vintage albums and goods. Her husband is now having to take time away from doing this to care for her and spend every moment together possible. They are not the types to accept support, however, they more than deserve our community's love and support. Let's show them we care.

The Country Fest to Cure ALS Country Music Festival will be held at the welcoming Hannah Nicole Winery in Brentwood CA at 2pm on Saturday September 28th. The extended lineup features 7 hours of live country music with 2 local acts and 3 Nashville artists. Local country music favorites, Toree McGee and the Carousel Cowboys will open the event at 3pm. Newcomer Nashville recording artist Jennifer Grant will lead off the Nashville artists with her sultry country voice singing country favorites along with her own music. Nashville recording artists Josh Melton and Jason Blaine will bring their high energy county music sounds to headline the festival. Josh Melton will be performing with his smooth baritone voice delivering songs from his newly released album titled “Bottom of the Lake” and his RIAA Platinum single, “Can’t Have Mine” that he wrote for Dylan Scott.
