There has been a change in the venue for the Area Championship Game 1 between Jacksboro and Blanco. the game will now be played in Lago Vista on Friday at 4:00 as officials were looking at the possible forecast. KWKQ 94-7 and ftlgradio.com will be on hand for the action, join Charlie Parker with the call. Games 2 and 3 if necessary will now be played in Brock on Saturday beginning at 2 o'clock. We want to thank the Jacksboro Community for backing the Tigerettes this season on the softball diamond. You showed up everyday and backed this group to a great season. We want to express our Congratulations to this group of young ladies as they played with pride and never once gave up. It was one of the greatest three game Bi-District Championships ever played and will always mean a lot to us as fans and to them as a player. Nothing to be ashamed of in your efforts, you made us proud. the seniors Avery Bennett, Payton Nail and Ashley Nunley you will always be in our hearts. To Coach John Bennett and Heath Tullous you did a fantastic job. Now we move on to Baseball and Coach Belcher and the Tigers this week on the diamond in their Bi-District Championship.

The National Weather Service Fort Worth has issued a Tornado Warning for Stephens County until 4:30. This is connection with the severe thunderstorm warning currently in effect. This is a radar detected tornado southeast of the downtown Breckenridge area. Please take immediate action and stay tuned to KLXK 93-5 we will keep you advised. Currently Young County is under a Tornado Watch until 11pm this evening. This line of Storms are moving east/northeast and could affect the Graham and Jacksboro communities.
