Tonight: Mostly to partly cloudy skies expected with overnight lows in the upper teens to low 20s.

I've included the most up to day winter road map via the City of Branson. Roads are covered this morning, so use extra caution and allow for extra drive time.

Good morning. Overnight, the in Springfield issued a "Winter Storm Warning" From 5PM CST today until 6PM CST Friday evening for the following areas:

Barry, Christian, Douglas, Howell, McDonald, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Stone & Taney Counties.

Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches may be possible.

Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact this evening into Friday morning.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Skies will become mostly cloudy to overcast with chances for snow by late afternoon. Highs in the mid 30s.

Despite the cold, it turned out to be a pretty decent across the area. Our Weather Station showed that we topped out at 31° this afternoon.

Currently in Branson it's 18° under mostly clear skies for our bedtime weather.

Overnight: Mainly clear skies are expected with overnight lows in the low to mid teens.

Quick Glance at Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies give way to mostly cloudy to overcast skies. Highs for tomorrow will depend on how long the sun sticks around, but I'm taking a shot at saying we should top out in the mid 30s.
Oh, and about that snowfall! We should start seeing snow begin to fall in our area by late afternoon to possibly early evening. A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 5PM CST tomorrow until 6PM CST Friday evening.
Our area could possibly see from 1 to possibly 4 inches.
Snowfall should come to and sometime Friday Friday morning.
Overnight Thursday into Friday comuttes may be impacted so make sure to stay up to date with the latest weather conditions and forecasts.

Good morning! We're halfway through the week and the cold temperatures remain again today. We should see mostly sunny skies with a few periods of cloudiness and highs in the mid to upper 20s.

Tonight: Mostly clear skies expected with overnight lows in the mid teens.

We're still monitoring a winter weather system that is expected to bring snow to the region late tomorrow into Friday. Snowfall amounts will vary due to potential banding effects.

Well, it took a while today but skies finally gave way to partly cloudy this afternoon..
The light winds made the day a bit more Bearable as we topped out 28°

Currently for our bedtime weather in Branson it's 17° under partly cloudy skies.

Overnight: Partly cloudy skies expected with overnight lows in the low to mid teens.

Quick Glance at Tomorrow:
Partly to mostly sunny skies are expected with highs in the upper 20s.

We're still monitoring a storm system that is anticipated to move across the southern United States later this week, potentially impacting parts of southern Missouri depending on its path.

A northern track for this system would bring snowfall to southern Missouri, while a more southern track would likely confine most of the snow to areas south of the Missouri/Arkansas border.

Given the presence of cold air, precipitation in the affected region is expected to fall as snow, although the exact locations and accumulation amounts remain uncertain at this time.

Good morning! It's another cold morning. Temperatures are showing from the mid to upper teens around the Branson area. Skies will gradually become partly cloudy today with highs only in the mid to upper 20s.

Tonight: Partly to mostly clear skies are expected with overnight lows in the low teens. Winds chill in the single digits.

I'm sure by now you have been seeing posts about another storm system that's expected to move across the southern states later this week. Will we see more wintry weather? That will depended on the track. If it has a more northerly track, southern Missouri could see some snow. If the track is more southerly, then snow fall would be more to the south.
As for snowfall amounts, we will have to monitor and as we get closer, we may have a better idea. Keep checking back for updates.
