Revisiting Old Wells ( repost CGB)
This is a bit personal to me, but also very much for those whom the Lord anoints to do the same.

In a recent exchange with a friend about revisiting old wells of revival, the Lord quickened something to me about their visit to Red River Meeting House, Kentucky, and about our visit to Blaenannerch and the Preseli Hills in Wales. I felt that, as with Cal Pearce visiting John G Lake’s original healing rooms, we too will find angels awaiting us with a message and an anointing from the Lord.

Then the Lord gave me a nugget of pure gold truth. “These old wells hold keys you know nothing of, and your visits are no accident.” These keys are for doors and situations local to each well. By local, I understand that it may be relevant to the original revival area affected by that well, with other keys available for other wells in different areas. This means that, in line with Dutch Sheets old ‘Give Him 15’ revelation of wells, we need to visit many wells - the lesser known ones as well as the well known ones. When we actually get to visit is relatively unimportant - it's the act of physically going that's important as that will be when we reopen them.

I'm excited at the prospect of this as the Lord has been speaking to me, confirmed by Words from other prophets, about going all over the UK to old wells, planting stakes, reclaiming holy ground, and blowing the shofar. One said to have a map with visited wells, and still to be visited wells marked. Please pray with us for Holy Spirit to lead us to the ones He wants us to visit.

WELL DIGGER

You are leaders in the Lord’s army and you are victorious. You are visionaries and can see the big picture. The Lord has even empowered you understand the strategies needed to advance the Church forward. “For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” (Heb. 11:10) You are builders and are bridge makers. “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1) You are servant leaders and are yielded to the Holy Spirit and stand on this foundation. I see you breaking hard ground, digging new wells, redigging ancient wells of revival and laying stones that will host the move of the Spirit. The stones represent the apostolic gifting, building, covenant, and laying foundations. The River is the Holy Spirit, cleansing, refreshing, teaching, and the prophetic anointing. There are Rivers of the Spirit and rivers of wealth flowing out of the wells reaching far places and even touching all the mountains of society. Anointed worship will be released where the Father is worshiped in Spirit and Truth and the people will be refreshed with the Living Water. Where the wells are dug, the land will be healed and revived with life.

Get ready to be wrecked!

I'd just got up one morning a while ago. It wasn't early, it wasn't late. I was just sitting trying to hear what the Lord was saying when I realised my face was wet and my eyes were leaking. (As they are again this morning!) No reason - they just were. I asked the Lord what, why, where etc and He said, “I AM GETTING READY TO WRECK THOSE TO WHOM I WILL GIVE A DOUBLE PORTION!”

My wife and I had just been talking about people getting wrecked by God, so I checked that my eye leaking was genuine. The Lord confirmed it was, and said, “MY PEOPLE NEED TO REALISE THAT THE ANOINTING THEY HAVE WILL NOT CARRY ALL OF THEM THROUGH THE COMING WAVES OF MY SPIRIT AND THEY WILL NEED MORE!”

My mind went to Elisha but the Lord pointed out that his double portion was at his own request. Then He showed me Peter and the other disciples and said, “If they had not received a double portion they could not have done all that they did; they could not have endured the persecution they did.

“SO IT IS WITH YOU. UNLESS I GIVE SOME THE DOUBLE PORTION THEY NEED, THEY WILL BURN OUT BEFORE THEY RUN THEIR RACE IN FULL.” I asked about the wrecking and He chuckled, “MOST OF THEM NEED TO BE WRECKED SO THEY CAN RECEIVE THEIR PORTION. AS I LAY THEIR MANTLE ON THEM, THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAND, SO ITS BEST THAT THEY LAY DOWN.”

“WITH THEIR ANOINTING, THEY WILL RECEIVE COURAGE, WISDOM, DETERMINATION, AND THE WORDS THEY ARE TO SPEAK. AS WITH ISAIAH, I WILL TOUCH THEIR LIPS WITH A BURNING COAL AND PLACE MY WORD WITHIN THEM. AS WITH DAVID, I WILL PLACE HUMILITY AND GREAT COURAGE WITHIN THEM.”

The Road Ahead

I saw, in my spirit, a road stretching out before me. I knew instantly that it was for all of us, me included. It was an unpaved road rather like you see in the country. It meandered left and right, up and over hills and through valleys. Through tough places and through easy places. There were stones and rocks everywhere - small ones, larger ones, and boulders. Yet what caught my eye as much as the roadway and all the stones, was the grass - lush and fat grass, with plenty of shady trees too. Beautiful countryside. I came to a place of particular difficulty, where passage was very arduous. I considered taking to the grass beside the road but soon realised that there were thorns, briars, and snakes at this particular point. I climbed on top of a rock for a bit of an higher view. I could see a path through and managed to pick my way through with minimal damage. There was mile after mile of the road stretched out before me and the vision faded and closed.

I asked the Lord about it. This is what I felt He was saying. “This is the road to revival! This is what you all are praying for. It's not an easy road. It's fraught with dangers, difficulties, and problems. Be sure you understand what you are asking for. Once you are on the road, it will be too late. You will either have to carry on through to the end, or stop someplace in a bit of a wilderness - stuck for anywhere to go.”

I asked Him to explain a little bit for me. The Lord understands our short comings and is always willing to explain these little ‘mysteries’. “The road of revival is not a straightforward road, it always has twists and turns, usually to avoid minor or major disasters. The Lord always knows Satan's plans to derail revival because the Lord ‘pins His ear’ on Satan's wall and goes ahead of him to divert around Satan's plans - hence all the twisting and turning. The stones, rocks, and boulders represent those Satanic plans that have to either be avoided, or they have to be thwarted with minimal damage.”

“The plush grass and trees and other refreshing spots represent the results of revival, and you may tarry awhile in any of those spots although I may urge you to keep on moving forward. The rough places? Are they not fairly obvious? They are where Satan decides to war even more heavily against revival. The snakes, the thorns and briars are his traps to catch out the unwary.” said the Lord.

“Occasionally’, He said, “I will take you higher for My perspective of the road ahead. That's when you will see the path I need you to take, even though fraught with danger and potentially damaging. You will always succeed but that success will come at a price.”

“So,” says the Lord, “Are you prepared, really prepared, to take on revival at any cost? If not, then I'll defer it. But if you are so prepared, then I will send it to you, to your church, to your town, and I will heal your land. Get your watchmen on the walls. Get your intercessors ready to pray even more, even longer, with even greater passion. I WILL SEND REVIVAL IN PROPORTION TO MY PERCEPTION OF YOUR WILLINGNESS TO PAY THE PRICE FOR REVIVAL IN YOUR LIVES.”

Prayer Walking to Take Back Territory

The Lord came to me during quiet time this morning. He showed me some old memories of the joy of prayer walking and began asking some questions. This is almost an “Issachar moment” and the Lord prompted me to post this now as a reminder of the time and season we are in.

The Lord is asking today, “Who will walk the length and breadth of this land, for I will give it to you today!” That’s a promise (Genesis 13:17) “Who will Prayer walk this land? Who will do what I command to take back what the enemy has tried to steal from My people? He must repay sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31)”

This, it seems to me, is a call for us to prayer walk our local area - perhaps drive the area in the States. It’s a call to reclaim territory which the enemy has usurped. There’s an anointing, a mantle for this, as witchcraft will sense it and come against you, but the hand of the Lord will protect you.

I responded, “Lord, your promise is also this, for it is written - “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;”” - Isaiah 44:3 This speaks of the coming revival and the restoration of families. Why else would we prayer walk the area if not to break the barriers between family members and neighbours?

The Lord reminded me that it is also written - “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.” Isaiah 54:2-3 This speaks of the fast growing re-emergence of the remnant church taking back its place in society. It also speaks to us individually to enlarge our boundaries of influence and our expectations of what the Lord will do with our mustard seeds of faith!

Finally, in confirmation of our prayer walking, it is written, “Look among the nations and watch— Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you.” -
Habakkuk 1:5 This firstly speaks and confirms the healing of our land as promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - IF, and only IF, Gods people repent and turn from their own wicked ways, their generations wicked ways, and their forefathers wicked ways, then He will heal our land. It also reminds us of what God can do with even a little faith from us!

Revival IS coming, it’s all there in scripture, and it starts with us demonstrating just a mustard seeds worth of faith, but there is a price to pay which only a remnant are prepared to do. It will not be easy, nor simple, but it will be glorious - and it accounts for the burning in my bones today!
