Step Up Suncoast

On Sunday, April 14th, to a packed theater at Hollywood 11, "Invisible... Poverty, Hope and the American Dream" premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival. When we think of poor people in America, we think of flickering black and white images of the bread lines of the 1920s or of the stark scenes of today, with worn-out people sleeping in alleys, or on the sidewalks of our towns and cities. They are the poor we see. The visible ones. But in the early part of the 21st century, millions of Americans who are not on display, who aren't seen, they are Invisible.

We thank METV and Charles Clappsaddle for shining a light on the poor we work everyday to help.
