The Some Ideas Collective is a loosely affiliated association of groups and individuals involved in a variety of creative pursuits joined by a history of collaboration, as well as a committment to cooperative and egalitarian self-organization.
Formed in 2009—though the idea had been brewing for years; mentioned and forgotten—the Some Ideas Collective is made up of craftspeople, musicians, writers, organizers, and others. We formed this collective to inspire and assist one another in our pursuits and to present a unified body of work that speaks to our shared philosophical perspectives. We have an informal base of operations in Braddock, Pennsylvania, the home of our intentional community, publishing company, and recording studio.
