Let’s talk about growing pains as a business owner growing through personal challenging times.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As - When you sign up for entrepreneurship, you also sign up for personal development. Ugh! Anyone agrees? Personal development has been off the charts this year!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been hearing a lot from people starting their messages to me - you are killing it! Yes, my business accelerated this year. I am truly in awe of all the successes I’ve had this year. Everything that seemed impossible actually fulfilled itself. You can't grow without making mistakes, though!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The challenges and failures seem to dim that light of successes, doesn’t it?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the past few months, I’ve made A LOT of hard decisions. Some of them included - outsourcing and taking things back from them, accepting my lack of expertise in something, letting go of clients that don’t align with me, saying No so many times. Plus, this whole year was just a big doozy (or should we call it an over-explosion of all the personal challenges?). All of that affected my self-worth exponentially.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Once I slowed down, with all of that came also a lot of clarity and a lot of lessons:
- My big why - helping business owners growing with ease and expand their revenue by taking their big visions and reverse engineer them into small steps. For me right now, that looks like providing social media marketing services, but the avenues are endless.
- I cannot help every single business, nor do I want to.
- I am in the middle of refining my services and making what works right now even better instead of creating new offers. Intention over scalability is where I am at right now.
- Saying yes to every single client is a form of people-pleasing which is a form of manipulation (tough pillow to swallow). It doesn’t serve anyone.
- Mental health is more important than grind and hustle.

That feeling when the strategy you provided for new clients is proving itself in the first week 🤟 scroll for the proof ➡️

The only difference - one client has a community management package and the one doesn’t 😳 can you spot which one?

Here is to the good staff - what I did before creating a 3-month strategy that will tailor clients goals:
✔️have a strategy call with a client and getting to know their vision, social media marketing, business and sales goals
✔️social media audit to see what is already performing and what is not, what changes need to be implemented
✔️industry market research - what competitors are doing and what they are missing - all the analytical work
✔️creating content pillars according to their offerings and goals
✔️visuals - graphics (for this one, I outsourced for the second time actually and it’s the best investment in my business right now, highly recommend), mood board for photographers, sourcing user generated content
✔️crafting the strategy that will allow create a strong brand awareness and grow the metrics needed in accordance to their business goals.

And then we implement! Here is the caviar - social media strategy and social media management are really two different things. You always should start with social media strategy. Why do I offer both? I’ve worked with enough clients to see what works and what doesn’t, and also strategy ebbs and flows. A lot of marketing is testing and sometimes, you have to try something new to see if it works. A social media manager generally just implements the strategy provided for them without adjusting as they go.

Last, but not the least, by offering both, I feel more in control of the results and consistency 🤟

Have you ever crafted a social media strategy for your brand? How did it go? I highly recommend it because it saves you time and money ahead of time instead of throwing darts and seeing what would stick 😉

Trying something new over here🤩I've been putting lots of work behind my client's accounts and it's time to show some numbers!

This client decided to focus on organic strategy only. Results are in, ladies and gentlemen. Vanity metrics are cute and all, but it's the revenue that drives the business forward and this is what my main focus is.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also, do you know the difference between social media strategist and social media manager? (I am both).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
P.S. very much enjoying my staycation and thankful for scheduling tools.
