Certainly not one of our typical posts, but we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge the passing of David Lynch. He inspired countless artists, and, speaking for myself, his art helped shape the person I am today, and WYRD might not even exist if it were not for his inspiration.

Thank you to everyone who made the Jól Celebration this year one to remember! The longest night is the harbinger of a new year with the return of the sun, and with a community like this, I think we all have a great deal to look forward to. I typically work with sustainably gathered bones and teeth, crystals, wood, sea glass, wasp nests, and dried botanicals to give new purpose to that which is no longer living."

Hannah was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. From a young age, she had a love for making things and started her first "business" making earrings. Since moving to Bozeman, graduating from Montana State, and leaning into her artist side, she created MT Sap Art. Inspiration for MT Sap came from another artist while working at Valhalla Meadery. Her passion for design and creation comes from the joy of bringing incredible ideas to life while giving a second life to the skulls and bones. Every project aims to craft well-designed works of art that put the fun in functional in a beautiful way. Through her artwork, she has been brought back to her Idaho roots. It has also freed Hannah from her past to create her future.

I started Nebuluxe in early 2024 as a way to express myself. I’ve long been interested in soft goods - I taught myself to sew in order to repair and create gear for myself and friends. When doing this it became important to me to not only make things that were functional but also beautiful. Appliqué was a technique that especially drew me. Though typically used in quilting I realized that appliqué could be combined with collage to produce detailed artwork. This medium has since fascinated me.

I am inspired by my home in Bozeman Montana, by movement, by the natural world, by literature, and by theory. I am deeply grateful for the support of everyone in this community, I hope my work brings some small amount of beauty into your life.

If you have missed Moonshadow at our other events or any of her own performances, you should remedy that. She is a top-tier performer, and we love every opportunity to get to work with her! Skål!

Hey friends! We will be hosting our annual Yule (Jól) celebration in partnership with Valhalla Meadery on Dec 21st on their tasting room grounds! This is a celebration of the sun, its return, the life cycle of nature and its rebirth, and of course artists and artisans from across our valley!

The Pagan Marketplace will have limited spots available. Please contact us if you would like to reserve a 10x10 or 10x20 space!

Performers of dance, fire, and music! Please contact us if you would like to perform during and throughout the day and evening festivities! There are very few spots available, so please get ahold of us ASAP!
