We’ll see a “roller coaster” ride in high temperatures this week. Look for a quick initial climb to well above normal temperatures by Tuesday, dropping to seasonably cool temperatures to end the work week, followed by a slower rise through the weekend. Precipitation chances will be confined to small chances during our mid-week drop.

Your work week forecast will be highlighted by breezy conditions and a rapid warm-up Monday and Tuesday. Expect 90s across western and a good portion of central North Dakota by Tuesday. A cold front Tuesday night will bring a significant cooldown Wednesday through Friday. Highs by Friday will range from the mid 60s to mid 70s. Only some isolated shower or thunderstorm activity is expected mid-week with dry weather expected to begin and to end the work week.

Sandra J. Fischer, 67, of Bowman, ND, passed away on August 27, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Mass of Christian Burial for Sandra will be on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 am (MST)at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dickinson with her burial to follow in the St. Pius Catholic Cemetery, Sheffield, ND. There will be a Rosary and Vigil Service on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 7:00 pm (MST) at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel in Bowman.

There have been reports of SCAMMERS in the Bowman ND area who claim to represent Consolidated. We are NOT calling customers about TV Box upgrades. DO NOT engage with them or give them any payment information.

One customer received a call from Consolidated, advising them that they needed to upgrade their tv boxes as they would no longer work, and it would cost $200 plus.

Another customer received a call from Consolidated and they needed to reboot the TV boxes and needed a credit card.

The phone numbers associated with the calls are 303-414-2873 or 303-226-9260. These numbers can change, beware of calls from the 303 area code.

Bowman Police Department Media Release

Our office has been notified by Consolidated out of the Dickinson Office of a Scam involving persons or person claiming they are a representative from their businesses. The person or persons claiming to belong with Consolidated is calling customers to inform them that their Consolidated Television Box is bad and needing replaced. Customers are being asked and are being charged $200.00 and the criminals are obtaining credit card information for the charge of a new box. There has been close calls and unsuspecting customers have given their credit card information. The number that has come up on one of the victims is (303) 414-2873. There have been other variances of this number with the (303) 414-###X. KPOK has provided a link from Consolidated site.
