For those attending the North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) 2023 Biennial Conference this weekend, be sure to check out the Assembly Saxophone Quartet with pianist I-Chen Yeh presenting new music for saxophone by Marilyn Shrude and Avner Dorman. Saturday, April 1 at 1:00 pm. Bennett Auditorium. Keep an eye out for a new release from Assembly. If you haven't already, dig into their excellent 2017 release In Search of Stillness.

Recorded in New Zealand in 1991 and later released on the Ode/Manu label as "Piano Music of Franz Liszt", this recorded performance won Eugene Albulescu the Grand Prix du Disque Liszt in 1994.
