Linda Evers, like many others, worked in the uranium mines of New Mexico, unknowingly putting her life and her children’s health at risk. Decades later, the devastating effects of radiation exposure continue to haunt those who sacrificed for the U.S. nuclear program. It’s a painful reminder of the costs of progress and the urgent need for accountability.
