For the Bowling Green Bobcats, the 100th Anniversary Invitational Tournament could not have gone any better. Coming into the tournament as the third seed, they defeated the North Callaway Thunderbirds 65-52 in the first round of games.

Bowling Green, MO – The Bowling Green R-1 School District is proud to announce that Mr. Joe Chinn has been selected as the next principal of Bowling Green High School. Following an extensive search process that attracted a strong and competitive field of candidates, Mr. Chinn emerged as the top choice due to his deep commitment to the community and his extensive experience within the district.

Mr. Chinn has been a dedicated member of the Bowling Green R-1 family for over a decade, serving in various roles that have allowed him to positively impact students, staff, and the broader school community. His leadership, vision, and passion for education have made a lasting impression, and his appointment as principal is a natural step in his continued service to the district.

"Joe Chinn is an outstanding leader who truly understands the values and needs of our school and community," said Nick Larson, Superintendent at Bowling Green R-1. "His experience, dedication, and ability to connect with students and staff make him the ideal person to lead Bowling Green High School into the future."

Mr. Chinn’s tenure at Bowling Green has been marked by his unwavering commitment to student success and his collaborative approach to leadership.
