Canadian songwriter Noeline Hofmann turns the hard work of her rural Alberta home into beautiful lyrics that break dawn and set sun on a universal landscape. Her voice makes familiar the prairie she sings of as a breeze rolls grasslands or dances the ears of cattle. You listen to her songs and you see them— she doesn’t ask you to believe the lyrics. She does not need to ask because you feel them. That’s authenticity. That’s the La Honda Sound.

So it is with great joy that today we welcome Noeline to the label. Her original song “Purple Gas” was recently released in collaboration with Zach Bryan as a duet. In the coming weeks, La Honda Records will begin releasing more of her stunning songs. To share this news with you all now means the world, as we have come to know, over the last several months, the genuine and sincere woman who is Noeline Hofmann.

A huge thank you to all who came through and took a stroll through the Rock Paper Show popup at yesterday! Amazing to meet and share my artwork with so many good people. Never is there a day where I take making my work for granted, I appreciate you all. Special thanks to for organizing this years Flatstock and to for organizing the Preacher show. Thanks to and the incredible crew for doing the yeomans job of helping us all with our transport to and from the convention center. Art is heavy.
The print demo from Andy Mac and was inspired, with the printing of the “Forever” print. In addition the Kozik panel with was a real treat to hear the inside baseball history of Austin’s nascent poster scene from its rebirth in the late 80’s punk scene. Really enjoyed that.
