La Honda Records is pleased to announce the latest artist signed to our roster of talent, Zara Alexandra. Now streaming everywhere is her first single and music video with La Honda, “It’s a Wild Thing”. Links in bio.

Zara Alexandra is as authentic as they come. She’s an earnest and hardworking rancher and farmer in southern Colorado who grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Appalachia. Zara’s inspiration comes from everyday people, “community champions” and the unsung everyday hero’s like single mothers and solemn farmers.

Playful and undeniable, “It’s a Wild Thing” is catchy as hell. Untethered and timeless, Zara Alexandra’s effortless vocals flow through her Appalachian-rooted accent, inviting us to run away with her. The repeated scenes of “dancing and swearing in your underwear” reflect her surrender to unscripted moments of fully living in the present. Alexandra reveals how carefree abandon can create deep intimacy. “An ageless, timeless fire”—now that’s a wild thing.
