Is it worth it?

It’s important to continually ask ourselves if what we’re doing at GizmOnyx is worth it.

There’s a number of draws on our time everyday. Some important, some not so much, and it’s difficult to find a distinction between the two concepts.

Of course we need do things like the dishes, shower, read, exercise, etc. everyday. These projects we do, though important in a different way, aren’t necessarily things that we need to be doing.

We’re all smart people, we could be doing anything else, but for those of us on board, we’ve chosen to do this. We’ve made an active decision that these projects are what we want to do. Each one of us will have our own reasons, but at the end of the day we have to ask ourselves if it’s worth it, or why are we doing this, or would I rather be doing something else, or how can I do it better.

Those questions aren’t meant to be easy to answer. It’s the constant unknown that keeps us moving forward. Put another way; imagine what it would be like in 10 years say if you don’t do this. Who knows where it will lead. But think about what the difference would be.

How will peoples lives be affected? How will your life be affected? And Is it worth it to do whatever it takes?

Be the difference that makes a difference.
