Molly Cameron | Castelli Home Series - Episode 2

One of my favorite projects this summer was getting to work with Molly Cameron on Episode Two of our Home Series for Castelli Cycling. Over a brief 4 days in the PNW, I spent a day and a half in Hood River with Molly and another day and a half in Bend, OR with Paula Findlay and Eric Lagerstrom for another episode of the series prior to flying back to Colorado. Ultimately, I put together 3 episodes for the series over the summer consisting of 3-5 minute episodes, 2-3 Instagram teaser reels and 20-40 stills that were pulled from RAW footage. Shooting on a combination of RED Raptor and Mavic 3/Inspire 3 drones, I pulled 20-40 still images per episode to use on the Castelli website and social channels. I'll share the episode with Paula + Eric as well as the 3rd episode featuring Ruth Edwards here over the next couple weeks. Very refreshing and invigorating to get back to the basics doing a film solo - from start to finish with no additional crew - preproduction/concept, location scouting, shooting, and all post production including sound and color. In collaboration with Joel Sunderland + Steve Chapin from Castelli, we pulled off an extremely efficient short series and I'm finally getting a moment to reflect on it. Huge thanks to Steve for entrusting the series with me, Molly/Paula/Eric/Ruth for sharing an eye into their home worlds and to Joel for running the gauntlet along side me on the shoots.
