This is something that kept me stuck for yearrrrrrrs...
waiting for some expert to tell me what to eat.
I thought I was doing the right thing by looking to the experts to tell me what to eat.
So if you're doing this too - I'm soooo sooo with you, it totally makes sense.
More than makes sense. It's smart!
When you're struggling with food, it's SMART to look for help with it.
But the problem with it is that getting help with WHAT to eat isn't actually the help you're needing if you struggle with emotional eating.
The help you're needing - if you're anything like I was - was help with my RELATIONSHIP with food + my body [not just body image... but relationship with my body as in caring for my nervous system, listening to my body, feeeeeeling my body].
