Behold! After more than one year of silence, Magic Hilt reappears with their first full-length, "Saga of the Glinting Steel". Eight tales of heroism, enchantment, and adventure told through warbled warsong and triumphant melody.

2025 Sale, Distro Update, and Label Patches

-I’m taking the month off from active releases but will be running a 40% off sale on all back stock. All items will be discounted for this weekend only. No codes needed. I’ll be running a similar promotion at Florida Dungeon Fest and have put aside stock to sell if you’ll be attending in person.

“Arkhangelsk” is the latest EP from Los Angeles synth-driven metal artist, Morningstvr. Composed of four genre-bending blackened conjurations, featuring elements of black metal, dungeon synth, and witch house, “Arkhangelsk” feels like a Carpenter movie set in the darkened corridors of a medieval castle; sleek dark synth melodies smashing into ancient ashlar.

This release is part of The Demo Series project. Hand-numbered edition of 30 translucent C-30 tapes with hand-cut J-card and A/B sticker label. Dubbed in real-time in Boston, MA.

“Michigan, Upper Peninsula” started as a series of field recordings taken while traveling through the Great Lakes region of the US. The sounds of waves lapping the shore, birds chirping, and wind rustling through trees is complimented by a single Casio keyboard mapped over the lush reverberations of nature. The result is a pensive meditation of the natural world with a firm sense of place; a series of soft melodies that seek to document a moment before it’s lost to the march of time.

This release is part of The Demo Series project. Hand-numbered edition of 30 translucent C-30 tapes with hand-cut J-card and A/B sticker label. Dubbed in real-time in Boston, MA.

“Skoven” is a triumphant dungeon synth collaboration between England’s Of Ancient Names and Denmark’s Pafund. With a concept initially conceived after performances at Dark Dungeon Fest 2023, “Skoven” takes influence from Danish history and folklore to tell tales of man’s connection with ancient forests, sunlit castles guarded by vigilant dragons, and the meteoric rise and tragic fall of a beloved hero. These stories are captured through OAN’s medieval majesty channeled with a vintage mellotron and Pafund’s raw conjurations of somber sorcery recorded to tape from a Casio SA-76.

Limited to 50 hand-numbered pro-dubbed black cassettes with a four panel J-card featuring art from illustrative tattoo artist Mia Rose and A/B pad-print.

Thank you to everyone who supported the drop yesterday. It means a lot to me that people still picked up tapes despite the chaos of the holiday and the endless push of Black Friday sales.

November bundles are sold out but limited copies remain of each of the November releases (down to the last three copies of Ashen Altar's "Remnants" as of posting).

I have one more drop on Friday, December 27th and then will be taking a month off to prepare for the next LP release.
