Newsweek has named Adam Ritchie Brand Direction as one of America’s Best Public Relations Agencies in the Brand Reputation & Marketing category. PR agency owners, employees and in-house teams were surveyed to recommend agencies by specialization. Market research company Statista evaluated the recommendations and produced the final list of agencies representing "the top tier of American PR."

Our latest Invention in PR launches today! The Worried About a Veteran (WAV) "Carry the Round Kit" is a special line of coffee packaged inside a gun safe. It's for loved ones to start conversations with their Veteran about securing their firearm.

Research showed that building time and space between a suicidal thought and ready access to an unsecured firearm can prevent an irreversible decision. But the relationship between a Veteran and their firearm is complex, and this is a tough conversation for Veterans' loved ones to start.

So we came up with a newsworthy product to make it easier, and equip loved ones with the tools to do it successfully. The campaign is called "Carry the Round" and Adam Ritchie Brand Direction handled Idea Creation and Strategic Planning. We handed it off to the WAV team to execute, and today it became real.

The Papa Johns edible "Garlic Butter Candle" is an Fail. What makes it a Fail? It was so frivolous, it barely earned coverage, and the few write-ups it received used phrases like "for reasons we cannot quite fathom," "reek with the stench" and likened it to a late April Fool's joke gone wrong.

An Invention in PR needs a reason for existing. This one was pegged to National Garlic Day. Check. But a _good_ Invention in PR solves a problem. It can solve the problem in a ridiculous and celebratory way. That's fair game, and some of the best ones do.

This one did it just to do it. A Type 2 RF (real + frivolous) that barely escaped the marketing trades before fizzling out.
