Police officers, teachers, nurses, firefighters, laborers, dockworkers and ironworkers are still raising their families here. South Boston Today will tell these stories and more. Today marks 84 years since the tragic attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

It’s also a reminder of the 84 opportunities our Nation has had to reflect on the lessons learned from that perilous day and to honor the 2,403 American lives lost. As Winston Churchill profoundly stated, “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few”.

Let us come together to remember, reflect, and honor their sacrifice together.
