This workshop focus to inspire participants to create their own interpretations of Corita Kent's iconic Rainbow Swash using waste materials from mass production. Through this hands-on art project, participants will explore themes of sustainability, creativity, and social justice.

The focus of this workshop will be on Corita Kent's Rainbow Swash, a landmark 140-foot tall design painted on an LNG storage tank in Dorchester, MA. Participants will learn about the history and significance of this work while using reclaimed paper from local printing company waste to create their own miniature versions of the tank.

Amazing Workshop at Umana Academy!

A super thank you to everyone who participated in our workshop at Umana Academy in East Boston, Massachusetts! Special Thanks to . Your creativity and inspiration truly made this event special. Together, we transformed architectural sample materials into beautiful and meaningful wishes key rings, phone holders and infinity ideas.

This workshop showed us all that with a bit of imagination, these materials can be used to make our dreams come true. We hope you now see architectural samples in a whole new light!

Hands-on Art Creation: Participants will have the opportunity to create their own unique home decor piece (coaster, picture frame, napkin holder, Cell phone holder, letter holder, Etc... using the best architectural samples already exploded and chosen. Guided by expert artists, participants will design and customize their pieces based on their individual needs and style preferences.
