To celebrate our last show of the year we’re going to play some Christmas rock and blues. You’ll find no Bing Crosby, Sinatra or (gasp) Mariah Carey here. We’ve got plenty of Yuletide blues, rock and punk.

Check it out! This week On the Record Radio turns One! This year and 38 episodes have absolutely flown by! To celebrate the anniversary of this little radio show, we’re going to take a look back at the last year and pull out some of my favorite songs from Boston and beyond.

I used to think the post grunge decade was a tough time for finding great music. We’ll hang on kids, here comes 2010-2020 making it even weirder. I won’t call it a “decline” rock and roll through these ten years, because some great music was made, but it’s clear that rock was starting to take a backseat to other genres. Now don’t fret, I’ve got a pretty cool set pulled together this week. Much digging was dug and I’ve got you two hours of some pretty cool stuff. I’m looking forward to expanding some minds this week.

I’ve also got the newest tune from Pray for Sound. It’s a f**king barn burner. You’re welcome in advance.
