Joe Merrick Live at the Spire - I can only Imagine
This song is an atempt to shine light during dark times. Even though this was performed in 2019, I feel the light is needed even more now. I am proud of this record and so proud and grateful for my friends that played with me on that special night celebrating its release and to ALL that showed up even in the snow! Tickets are not for sale yet , but I am playing the Beatlefest June 12th at the Spire in Plymouth. Also, I am playing the Loft at the Cove in Yarmouth tomorrow 4/7 430-730. I I hope you enjoy this and spread the LOVE that is so desperately needed now!
Big Show In Plymouth!

The show is at The Spire in historic downtown Plymouth. If you haven't been, it's a gorgeous old church that's been transformed into a spectacular music venue.
It's a Sunday matinee gig with doors @ 4:30. Come hang for the afternoon and be home in time to watch the Patriots crush The Texans on Sunday Night Football.

About 15 years ago I opened up a book of poetry by Sylvia Plath and instantly my gut convulsed with emotion, a sort of ping of recognition. As I investigated more of her life story, I found myself grieving over the fact that had she been going through the darkness in this day and age, she could have been saved. I've known some of that darkness and this song is really a fantasy of going back in time and helping my friend Sylvia get through the clouds of depression. This song is a juxtaposition of snappy music, absolute despair and a longing for release. My gifted friend Sam Haddix fell in love with the song and had a vision of what the visual depiction of the song would be. This video is his work of art in which he absolutely captured the complex emotions of the song. Free mp3 email [email protected]
