2025 has already started off with a bang - but it’s gonna get even better.

Saturday February 1, I will be playing Big Night’s newest lounge - Play (directly next to TD Garden) . This is a big gig for me, as it represents a stepping stone as to where I want to go in my DJ career.

One year ago, I decided to take a risk and officially start my DJ journey. This past weekend marked a whole year since starting the journey, and it’s been an unbelievable ride. When I started, I NEVER thought that bringing my alter ego to life (ZAZU) and embarking on this journey would become a paid hobby and a source of happiness. But God had better plans for me. Since I started, I’ve DJ’d in three states, five cities, done 100 gigs, done several corporate events, weddings, played a cruise, and played at 25 different venues 🤯 I don’t take any of this for granted at all. Not everyone can have their dream come true and become a booked DJ this fast, and I feel so blessed to be able to get paid for a hobby I kept a secret for so long. DJing has brought out a renewed sense of peace and confidence in my life, and it has allowed me to grow as a person. But it’s not just the gigs – it’s everyone I’ve met, and the friendships developed along the way. Appreciate all of you who supported me since the beginning, all your support inspires to continue progressing and playing more. I thank God every day for allowing this dream of mine to come true at the perfect time, and I thank my family, friends, ZAZU supporters, and everybody who has either booked me, spread the word about me, mentored me, or even just gone to one of my nights. Y’all are AWESOME. Also shoutout to ALL the DJs out there doing their thing – past, present, bedroom, booked, veteran, close friend, business colleague - you name it. You all are so talented and it’s a pleasure to be in the same scene as you. This is still only just the beginning. Stay tuned for all I do in the future.
