I have been living in my house for 50 years and have never seen such jerks! The new entitled neighbors moved in a few weeks ago. With three cars and only two driveway spaces, they decided my front lawn was the perfect spot for their big pickup.

The first time I saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes β€” a heavy truck right in the middle of my neatly trimmed grass. I hobbled outside and asked them β€” politely at first β€” to move it. The wife, a sour-faced woman who looked at me like I was something unpleasant on her shoe, just shrugged. "We've got three cars and only two spaces. You don't have a car, so what's the harm?"

What's the harm? My pristine lawn was my pride. But now, it was a muddy mess. I protested again, but the husband, a burly man with a permanent scowl, just ignored me. "We'll park where we need to," he said gruffly, like I was just some old lady who didn't matter.

But they underestimated me. I might be old, and my body might be failing, but I wasn't about to let them walk all over me β€” or my lawn. So, in the night, I ......... Continue Reading in below comment πŸ‘‡

My stepfather adopted me and took care of me after my mother died when I was 10. After 8 uneasy years together, I was finally ready to pay him back.
As I was packing my bags to leave for college, my stepfather came into the room with tears in his eyes. "HERE'S A LETTER YOUR MOTHER ASKED ME TO GIVE YOU ON YOUR 18TH BIRTHDAY," he said, his voice trembling.
After reading the letter, tears fell from my eyes. "NANCY, I CAN EXPLAIN. PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE," he begged.
"This explains everything!" I exclaimed, waving the letter. Then, I ran to his room and threw his bags to the center. "Now, pack your stuff and ⬇️

Sam invited his stepfather Bob to go for a drive out in the country to get some fresh air after his mother's funeral. "Bob," he said. "We need to get rid of the cobwebs before we can start a new life!"

The two had driven off in Sam's convertible and Bob had noticed that his stepson was uncharacteristically quiet, even though he smiled a lot, and looked amused.

When they were outside the city limits, Sam stopped the car. "Get out," he said. "Get out now."

"Sam?" asked Bob, bewildered. "What's going on?"

"As I told you, I'm getting rid of the cobwebs, starting a new life," Sam said with a nasty little smile.

"I love you!" whispered Bob with tears in his eyes. "You were like a son to me, I thought you cared for me!"

"Care?" asked Sam. "What I care about is all that money and I'm not about to share it with you. It's MY money, old man, so get lost!"

Bob stumbled out of the car trembling. He stood and watched as Sam's car vanished in a dwindling cloud of dust.

He looked around. The emptiness stretched out in all directions from horizon to horizon, and he had nothing except his walking stick.

The sun was going down and it was getting very cold when a large expensive-looking car stopped next to Bob. "Sir," asked a kindly voice. πŸ‘‡
