Great golf day with Trung yesterday in western mass - he got a birdie as did I …and an eagle for the first time ever. Number 10, a downhill par 4, 3 wood and 8 iron which disappeared in the cup. Good times.

25 years ago today I walked into Ch 7 for my first day! Wow!! Has it really been that long? I remember it so well...I checked in with HR and then managing editor John Bell sent me out with newsman Ron Sanders. We want to MIT and I watched Ron do a report on a robotics project they were working on.

A staple of TV news! I still love this job - love seeing all of you every day. It's a wonderful opportunity to really get to know the people of Boston. Thanks to everyone who ever said YES to a man on the street interview! Or any interview!

The battle of the bulge nearly killed Robert Curtis of Plymouth in December of 1944, 72 years ago. But he lived and was awarded the Purple Heart.
In April someone stole the medal from his son Paul's home. As a pre holiday surprise, someone returned it in October to the walkway in front of the home. Honor among thieves?
