We are excited to celebrate someone in our Riverview family, Jim "Graz" Graziano's grandfather celebrating his milestone birthday!

Let’s all sing Happy 106th Birthday to Vince “Gramps” Graziano! Born in Trenton to immigrant parents from San Fele, Italy, he was the tenth born of 12 siblings. He grew up in his family’s home on Fulton Street, sharing an attic bedroom with his 6 brothers. He has fond memories of growing up in Trenton; when he was 9 years old he recalls watching Babe Ruth play an exhibition game in the Capital City.
As a teenager he held a number of jobs, including selling produce at the Trenton Farmers’ Market, pumping gas (when $1 would buy you 7 gallons!), caddying at a local golf course, and working at an auto shop rebuilding engines.
Not long after returning home from WWII, he met Mary Mealy, a waitress in the restaurant at the Trenton train station, and the two soon married, starting a family that would grow to include four children.
Vince devoted 34 years to the City of Trenton, where he worked his way up to Foreman of Public Works, contributing to his community with hard work and steadfast loyalty. Through the years, Vince remained a pillar of strength, wisdom, and humor, surrounded by his growing family. He celebrated his latest New Year with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a few beloved four-legged family members. A life well-lived, Gramps’ legacy of love, service, and family continues to shine brightly.
