It's a snow day in Prentiss County and we want to share the fun! Please share your pictures of fun in the snow including snowmen, sledding and just playing and having a good time and we'll publish as many as possible in this week's paper. Waste Management Update:

The Waste Connections of MS hauling company office will be closed Friday afternoon and on Monday, January 1st. Routes will not be running on Januart 1st.

Residential trash will be picked up one day late all week. If you are a Monday customer, your pickup will be Tuesday. If you are a Tuesday customer, your pick up day will be Wednesday and so forth. Friday Customers can expect service on Saturday. Customers should be aware that they should have their trash out by 6 AM to ensure pickup. Many customers are out of town and our trucks may come by earlier than normal.
