Last week, I got to hang with some good pals and chase redfish in one of my favorite places! We fished hard, laughed harder and even spent a night under the stars—a good reset for the soul. I pulled out the GoPro out for a day with & to capture a few moments which turned into the video we launched today. It’s simple, fun and a darn good time. It’s only up for 24 hours so don’t miss it!

Paying attention to detail is a constant for anglers & creatives. It’s what sets one person apart from the next and can be the difference in catching a fish and not. It’s also what’s made JD’s music so impactful and enjoyable to listen to.

Thanks for all the love on the new film! We wanted to challenge our storytelling abilities with this one by telling a bigger story about JD through the lens of fly fishing. Yes, this is a fishing story, but it’s more so a story about connection, courage and letting loose. We can’t thank our buddy enough for letting us share his story through this film. If you’re a fan of what we do and a fan of music, we think you’ll really enjoy this one.

items just hit the shop in collaboration with our good friends . Boone, North Carolina is where I went to college & where Wild Fly began, so we wanted to do our part in supporting the relief efforts from Hurricane Helene. ALL proceeds will be donated to flood relief in the Boone area.

It’s still a long road ahead for folks in Appalachia, so any bit helps!
