GOOD NEWS: I was awarded as a finalist for the IBS 2020 Awards for the Most Innovative and Creative show! Yay!

SAD NEWS: Along with everything else, Mountain Mama is indefinitely canceled (possibly forever on 90.5 WASU). Although I currently don’t own recording equipment and can’t afford it to record things from home yet, this account will still be active and I’ll still be posting Spotify playlists. Who knows where the show go after I graduate in May... maybe a podcast? Support your artists, if you can! We are all out of work, but we’re gonna make it through this.

This album features Darrell Scott, Bela Fleck, Vince Gill and other superstar musicians, but it's Jarosz that truly brings this music to an entirely new level.

Food is an important part of sharing traditions. When friends visit me, I love to share recipes from my Grandma and mom of special southern food like livermush biscuits and blackberry wine cake. Tonight, I shared the Dutch tradition of eating Boerenkool Stamppot, which is a mixture of potatoes and a kale-like cabbage with sausage. It’s yummy, but let’s just say it needed some gravy 😉

New release from Cameron Scoggins, and I’m totally digging it. My favorite tracks so far are “Silicon” And “Palo Alto.”

Cameron said on his Instagram, “The record is about how technology makes us more or less human, and what ‘Folk’ can say about it. Or rather, taking modern mythology and saying... folk this.”

Cameron is an actor and musician, and you may recognize him from ABC's Nasvhille and/or NBC's Shades of Blue.
