The sun is shining and the summer season is almost here. If you’re planning to visit Allan Yorke Park, new operational changes to ensure a positive experience for park visitors are in effect. A reminder that beach access is limited to 250 guests. Once capacity is reached, the park attendant will post a notice on the gate. To learn about these changes, visit: www.cobl.us/AYPOperations.

If you’re considering going into the lake, even though air temperatures are warm, the water is still very cold. If you need a life jacket, East Pierce Fire & Rescue has convenient self-serve kiosks at the park and fire station headquarters.
