$73k in 3 weeks in bookings for my immersive adventure village in the middle of nowhere desert.

Not surprised at all right? No. I’ve been scared as hell for 3 years building this.

The project was supposed to be dead about 5 times.

I went through 3 engineers, the first two wasted 5 months each on it before throwing in the towel. No one wants to stamp building on a lake bed.

I couldn’t get a builder in the 2022 construction boom, the lowest bid I got was $1,000/ft, no wanted to build in the middle of nowhere for a 7 unit project.

The county initially demanded we build 5 miles of road, we got an easement through a neighbors yard down to 1 mile.

The county demanded individual septic tanks 150 feet away from the dry lake bed from units 25 feet deep.

The project ballooned $1M over budget because of my lack of experience and proper planning.

We stretched our lender so far over budget they couldn’t lend any more to us.

I could go on and on and on, this list keeps going.

Am I insane?

Am I overconfident?

Did I make too many mistakes?

Did I dream too big?

Am I an idiot?

Am I good enough? Smart enough?

Did I build something that’s total crap?

Is anyone going to care about this?

Look, you’re an idiot until your not, then you remember who you are.

Everything is happening for you not to you.

If you are working on something and having all of these doubts come into your mind, you’re not special.

This is everyone, all the time.

And when you stop having these doubts is when you might be a little over confident and reckless.

I was absolutely overconfident and reckless in this, it’s been major pucker butt this whole time.

But here we are.

We’re winning.

Keep pushing, keep believing, keep evolving, keep learning, and whatever happens after you’ve done all you can is what’s supposed to happen in order for you to become the person you need to be to do all those dreams you have inside your head.

A while back I was thinking, why did it work?

Why was I able to scale in an industry where most never really get over that $300k/yr hurdle?

It was the personal brand efforts.

It was very small results, even 40 likes on LinkedIn posts led to campaigns with Acura, NordicTrack, LATAM airlines, Polaroid.

It’s never been easier to build a personal brand and drive high ticket sales, services, recruiting, etc.. because the algorithms are pushing educational content. All you have to do is talk to the camera, and it does not take millions of views to make a huge impact,

I was able to leverage my small personal brand to get enough credibility to sell out my experience hotel for a year in 3 days.

I think this is a high ROI effort for anyone, no matter what industry you’re in. People introduce themselves, it opens the world to you when people know who you are and what you’re doing.

When I needed to raise more capital for my hotels, I posted and dozens of calls were scheduled and not only did I find a financier, I found a potential long term partner with the expertise the company needs.

People don’t do this because it’s uncomfortable, it feels vain, it opens up your insecurities, people pick you apart, but it’s kind of like… who cares? That’s life.

Provide value, get paid.

This effort helps people for free.

We became a clan in 3 days.

Breathwork, hot springs, sauna, cold plunge, long conversations, candid conversations, adventure, we all belonged, we were all equals, we left our egos at home, we owed no one anything, no transactional relationships, no providing, no protecting, just like-minded men counseling each other about our lives as we have done hunting and defending for tens of thousands of years.

These men have influence to a 100 others who need that inspiration and motivation to Live Up, which is why we called this .

I try to keep it about 80% founders, 20% up and comers who deserve to be there so that the majority presence of experience and conversations are at a certain level and so that no one is there to pitch anyone or take us out of the reason we are there.

Guys, explain what the event is like, we need to get this to as many men as possible, I’ve been in a lot of these events and have never seen anything like it, the world needs this more than ever.

We need to be worthy of the women and children in our lives. Men have fallen behind, but these men below have not.
