Probably one of the best things marketer can hear from a client. What are we doing? Nothing different than anyone else who is a great content marketer. We just combine great design with:

Three reasons I love working remotely and being mobile:

1. Getting to bring my daughters along. Are they sometimes distracting when I'm trying to concentrate? Of course. But they bring along reading books, coloring books, and other activities and it forces them to be removed from distractions and have to fill their time. The same goes for me, too lol. Last week my daughter asked what roman numerals were (saw them in a book at the coffee shop) and after a few minutes explaining she now knows them better than me.

2. Getting to meet people I otherwise probably never would. Like, ! đŸ‘‹đŸ»

3. I give myself a certain amount of time while out, bring a direct action list, and don't leave until the list is done. I know I can do the same thing at home but it just feels different being out and giving yourself some restrictions to get your things done.

Bonus, I love good coffee and I get to support awesome local businesses like in Eagle, .

I had a 9-hour drive home yesterday and listened to a great Masterclass from Alexis Ohanian - Reddit co-founder turned venture capitalist. He covers a lot of great topics for anyone looking start any kind of business in today's connected world. My three biggest takeaways so far:

1) The quote in the picture, "Ex*****on is everything; ideas alone are worthless."

2) The barriers for entry to get your idea started have been exponentially reduced. This makes the quote above even more applicable because so many excuses to execute your idea have been eliminated.

3) I love his definition of an entrepreneur... "Has ideas. Does them." Again, excuses have been eliminated, ex*****on is everything, if you have an idea, go and do.

Oh, and mid- to late-30s is actually a great time to start new ventures. Phew!

Add value. Tell stories. Edify others. Celebrate your team members and business partners. Don’t force a sales pitch over and over to your followers. At best, you’ll be ignored. At worst, you’ll be unfollowed. Know your audience and be a brand they like to follow and engage with.
