I started just randomly baking and its become my everyday along with my full time job my full time duties as a mama.

On to more important things so I have an announcement my last day to have desserts at the 223 will be next Tuesday!! I have decided to take a break from baking and my business. I’ve given it my all for the last year in a half or so and mentally and physically I’m drained so I don’t know how long or if I will continue to run my dessert business. Only time will tell currently I have gift certificates out and other arrangements with customer I will still take care of those but as far as anything additional not at this moment. I need to restructure something’s in life and determine what’s more important that makes me happy!! So to all my customers that have supported me I definitely appreciate y’all and I hope this break will give me the clarity about my business that I need. - love yall always 💜💜(remember life is short eat desserts first)

After the news that a school banned a child with autism from participating in a school trip I feel the need to write this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthdays for example. There are kids who want to belong to a team but don't get selected because it's more important to win than include these kids. Children with special needs are not weird or strange, they just want what everyone else wants: to be accepted!! 😡Can I ask a question??. Is anyone willing to copy and paste this post on their wall without sharing, like I did for a friend? they also need full love and support.//Dont ever play with my nephew because he ain’t no different from other children

Yesterday lord yesterday!!Thank you to everyone who came and stood in line at chili cook off! I can’t thank yall enough Mari used over 400 lemons, 17 bags of ice and so many fruits, candies and syrups. I prayed for the over flow and yall showed out. And I apologize for those who left the line bc we ran out of ice. As always thank you to my sister Lakeisha Montelongo , my dad Mari bestie Jaylah. And thank you for the patience people had standing in the line yesterday. And thanks to a couple customers who made their own drink combos the most favorite was green apple and pineapple I’ve decided to name it The Grenade!!🍏🍏

Appreciation post!! So I’ve been in business for a little over a year and im very fortunate to have a supportive family. But let me brag on this one sister first Lakeisha Montelongo makes it to every event and helps me non stop so when you see me you see her. Like no matter how the event turns out she’s speaking new blessing over my business discussing more ideas and solutions to problems I haven’t even thought about yet. Helping Mari with her lemonade and marketing ideas to better serve yall. Now it doesn’t stop there my sisters Tina & Catrice are constantly sending new customers my way. My brothers are my best trial and errors testers because they tell me straight if it’s bad. More than enough Nucor family to support me. Got my 223 collective family supporting me. And the most important ones my parents my dad is right there to offer whatever is needed my mama knows when I’m not confident enough going into an event and she has to give me that talk. My daughter the push I get I couldn’t be happier to be sharing the business with her. Hopefully she’s learning the value behind me working hard. All of this to say if you have a supportive team be thankful for them and appreciate them! 💜

Happy Monday Guys!!
Come out and see us this Saturday in Walkers Park starting at 10.
I plan to post the intended menu later this evening so you have an idea of what we’re selling.
I’m putting out a new Menu for my business as everyone knows prices of ingredients have gone up so my overall prices have changed a little.
We also will be at Wingfest on 9/21 also in Walkers Park.
Chili Cook off Oct 12th.
Also I’m hoping to have a website within this week completed so yall can book me through that.

Hello everyone happy Saturday!! I know it’s been a while since I’ve restocked the 223 collectiveand i apologize I’ve been really busy making cakes and other desserts for different events each week…but I will restock Tuesday
Bringing back the Yummiwich(cake sandwich) by request and two different Rice Krispies- banana pudding and Oreo a few others. I thank y’all very much for believing in me and being apart of my journey with baking. I hope to improve something’s to better my services and if you need to book something with me please do so soon as possible so I can get that date squared away for you.
