Greetings Folks, As you may have noticed, & per my post from last week, Monday, April 1st. 2024 was the FINAL Day for Living Dead Recordings. I have shut the doors after 21 yrs almost, LDR is now part of Our Music History.

Effective Today, Tuesday, April 2nd. 2024, "Channel 41 Media" is now at the forefront of companies overseen by Reinfield Management, & will be my primary focus moving forward.
I am going to leave some stuff up, but for the most art, over the coming weeks, I'll slowly be removing any remnants of LDR from this page. ALL videos will remain as they were produced by Channel 41, but that's probably gonna be it.

I'll be posting more on what lies ahead in the coming weeks as well, a bit about the projects on deck, and how YOU can get involved. In the meantime, Thank you for your support over the last 2 decades, without you guys, it wouldn't have lasted as long as it did.

February 14., 2024 marked a milestone for Living Dead Recordings Owner/Founder, "ReinField", as it was the day of retirement from being a Career Musician.

What does this mean for the future of LDR? Dragnun? Etc.?
NOTHING. It does not affect the operations of the label, it's goals, or artists under the LDR umbrella.

In January of 2023, Jessica East assumed the position of Chief Operations Officer in a permanent capacity as she had been holding down the fort during the unplanned hiatus ReinField took to deal with personal/medical issues.

Things have been rather quiet on the frontlines with LDR as it underwent a Re-Vamping last year, and aside from the pending Dragnun release & EddieFest, & the Solo EP by ReinField, there are no other active endeavors to date. Fear not, that will be changing in the coming months, one thing that stems from the retirement, is the new chosen career path that will intertwine with LDR & ALL other companies under ReinField Management, which is the integration of A.I. into the foundation for ALL RMNGT Subsidiaries.

Some pretty exciting stuff is in our future this year.

Also, part of the Re-Vamping, as of now, ALL LDR Merchandise & its artists merch, will be distributed & made available by "Maniac Musik", opening April 27th. 2024 at EddieFest 3 in Bluefield, WV at The Clover Club.

Maniac Musik will be assuming responsibility for the MUCH delayed Dragnun Bundle that was pre-ordered thru the label & overseeing the sales of any future releases.

Hey everyone,
Just a heads up that we are still in need of 8-10 vendors for Eddiefest 3. This event will take place once again, at the Clover Club in Bluefield, WV 4/27/24. There will be 15 bands and it will run from 12pm-11pm. If you or any small, independent businesses you know are interested, the fee is $100 for a 6x6 table space. This fee is nonrefundable, as it is used solely to offset the cost of putting on the show. Dm me(Tracy Byrd) for inquiries.

Fall of 2023 marks a new era for LDR. We've underwent a complete Re-Vamping from February untill June. Everything changed from policies, to staff, positions we're eliminated/created. People let go/stepped away & added on. As with any company, change is inevitable & in this industry there is a high turnover rate in many areas.

I say that to say this, Re-Vamp complete, new upper management team in place, and one of the changes I have taken the most serious is instituting "The Council of Crows". What is that?? 😳 I'm happy to elaborate.

The namesake pays homage in a way to our fallen brother EROC, but deeper than that, The Council is a 7 Member Panel, consistent of people from different backgrounds, not just music, alongside label management that now, each time a band/artist inquires about working with us, instead of in the past where the decision was basically made by myself with whatever information I had to go on at the time, to a much more organized system ending after a week long research week with a vote. The Panel after having had time to research the artists looking for key components to their craft, access to their music, etc. Comes together at the end of the week to vote. Majority Rules, simple as that. 7 members eliminates a tie possibility & once the vote is final, the band/artist is notified. If for whatever reason they didn't make the vote, they can resubmit in one year.

There are a few more details but that's the gist.
And I'm happy to say that although we can't discuss the details, not even the band name, The Council was activated this week ringing in a new era & MAYBE welcoming our first addition to the roster post Re-Vamp.

One of many changes you'll notice soon enough, updates coming soon and MAYBE even back on with the dot com.

🚧⭐Idk who all may or may not have seen my MASSIVE update on my personal page from a cpl nights ago, regarding everything coming up. It was my last post before this tho if anyone needs to go reference.⭐🚧

🚨🛑I say that to say this, I have FINALLY reached a point that I at times thought would never come. I have the release date for not only my book, "Punk Rawk Ju**ie" chronicling my constant chase for success only to be hindered by my substance use & codependency issues leading to heartbreak & tragedy every time, until I'd, temporarily as it turns out, broke the cycle & found a path into recovery. I wrote about how the darkest night of my life, June 6th. 2017, when I'd committed a crime so serious there was no turning back, leading me to have the courage to intentionally overdose was thwarted by the powers that be & that night, seemingly the end, was actually the beginning.

🎸💣There's A LOT of stories from my earlier days in music, and for the first time I tell people about what transpired during the 8 years I was away from music. I'd all but retired at the end of 2013, succumbing to my addiction, heading down an unknown path to a bitter end no doubt, thinking I'd never play again. Those were the darkest years for me, and I finally decided to open up & let people in on how Grimm that time was & what it took to lead me back to music & myself.

🦇🦇I'll no longer be working under Mr. Reinfield, Lucian Reinfield, Mister Reinfield, or any of the other titles and my book will be the only work ever released under just my name. But with the date in place to release the book AND my first completed solo work, the EP "The Blood is the Life" is released simply as "Reinfield". My music persona as I'd mentioned underwent an ascension so to speak & this year has had its turns, but in it I've managed to evolve as an Artist, a Musician, & somehow along the way I managed to unlock the door that kept ALL of my aspirations held back.

We know we've been quiet for some time, but we typically don't post until we have some noteworthy news to share. Consider that today. We will be reconvening here in VA during the winter to begin work on our newest release. We haven't decided whether it's going to be an EP or a full length, but work will begin at that time and we'll go from there! Currently we are whittling a MASSIVE amount of songs down to what we feel are the very best we have to offer. Hailing from Charlotte NC are melodic metal band Laniidae. Their sound can best be described as having elements of metalcore, emo and hardcore with clean and harsh vocals, coupled with some electronic elements. They have 2 releases in their few years of existence, several singles and have recently gathered world wide press from the likes of Metal Injection. Hello again everyone! Mid week brings another update for us at Eddiefest. This year we will see the return of Bluefield's own (by way of Riner VA and NJ) A Gathering of None! They have been around since 2013 and have released 2 EPs and 2 full length albums. They meld several genres together( melodic punk, grunge, stoner rock, post hardcore and progressive metal) and are an all around talented and multifaceted heavy rock band. Joining them this year on guitar to fill in for their longtime guitarist/producer Justin Osburn will be ex-Southern Flame and currently lauded solo artist Jonah Carden .
