Raising chickens isnt as easy as most like to think lol it takes a lot of work and feeding them can get expensive as my husband likes to remind me….. but the joy my family and I get from these fresh eggs and their colors is worth all the sweat and tears 🥰

My Peach Habanero and Blackberry Jalapeno jellies, plus tallow body butters (including the Magnesium one!) are restocked on the site now!! I will say this batch of Peach habanero has to be the best yet and definitely has kick😋 going to be perfect for my chicken wing marinade tonight!🙌

Reading my Bible and devotionals, Sipping on my healthy coffee this morning and just remembering…
I will never forget one minute of that day on Sept 11, 2001, ever.

let us take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day. It is a day that will forever be etched in our minds.

This day, let us recommit ourselves to the values and ideals that our fallen heroes fought so bravely to protect. May we strive to create a world where their sacrifices are honored, where unity prevails over division, and where the bonds of compassion and understanding strengthen our communities.

Dear Lord, We remember, We remember when the towers fell and the lives were lost; we remember the dust and the smoke, the despair, and the grief. We remember that sense of vulnerability and shock. We remember the numbness that overwhelmed us as we watched our screens for hours and hours, waiting for an explanation and understanding that never came. We remember.

We remember, God, We remember the heroes, those who rushed to help, who guided the wounded down innumerable flights of stairs, who rose up and who held death in their hands. We remember the hours and the days , the wounds and healing hurts, giving comfort, drying tears. We remember words of support and compassion from nations far and wide. We remember.

We remember in part because we see the ripples of that tragic day continue to impact our world twenty three years later. together we wonder if there will ever be an end . . . to violence, to war, to hatred, to death. We remember and we grieve our world’s inability to learn the things that lead to peace.

We call to you now dear God in our remembrance. Give us a will to truly pray that your kingdom may come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen

This morning before I left I got my sourdough pizza crust ready & raising for dinner tonight🥰 one of my favorite dinners to make with my homemade sauce, fresh sausage and my garden veggies ❤️ Looking forward to taking two of my fat/carb blockers and indulging on this pizza tonight!!

Dear God, thank you for being my help today—perhaps even in ways I have not seen. You have guided and protected us, cared for and comforted us. In every struggle in life, You have shown Yourself faithful. You are the God of Hope, and I’m thankful tonight. I pray again for my family and friends in need, and for others who are also hurting tonight. If they know You, please be their refuge and strength. And if they don’t know You, I ask You to use their tough circumstances to draw them closer to you. I am confident You will be with me in the days ahead. You are sovereign, good, loving and kind, and I praise Your name. Amen.

Finally done with at least this first 12lbs of blackberries I picked! Canned 20 jars of seedless Blackberry jelly to restock our farm website and vendor show we have coming up (you can grab this jelly or my other favorites I make on our farm site https://gypsyrosefarm.com/ )🥰

All this canning made me hungry 🤪, I needed something quick and easy to hold me over till dinner tonight because Im trying to stay on track with my health goals, so chose to use the extra blackberries and make up one of my fatburning protein Superfood smoothie bowls! 🙌

Gotta love saturdays on the farm❤️
