Subject: Safety Protocol Updates for Your Cabin
Dear Owners,
At Rally Point Properties, we are committed to ensuring the safety of your guests and properties. To enhance our existing safety measures, we’ve taken steps to further improve the resources available in your cabins and for your housekeepers. Here's an update on our proactive safety efforts:
Updated Safety Guide
In addition to the contact sheet for emergency services (hospital, 911, fire station, etc.) already included in your house manuals, we are compiling a more comprehensive safety guide. This guide will cover critical safety items and their locations, such as:
Fire extinguishers
Lighters
Emergency water supply (if applicable)
Breaker boxes
Shut-off valves for water or gas
Lanterns/flashlights
First Aid Kits
Housekeepers play a key role in safety and should be instructed to check these items & know the locations of each item during their routine turnovers. This ensures these essential safety features are present and functional at all times.
Emergency Exit Plans
It’s important to identify and document a clear emergency exit plan for each property. (example attached) This plan should:
Be included in your house manual.
Be shared with guests for their safety.
Be submitted to Gilmer County and/or Fannin County as part of the application process, clearly highlighting all exits.
If necessary, this may involve reviewing your blueprints to accurately identify exit routes. This information benefits guests, housekeepers, and emergency responders by providing quick access to essential items when needed.
We greatly appreciate your efforts in completing the recent safety questionnaire. Your collaboration allows us to ensure every property is well-prepared and that guests feel more secure during their stays.
